The skirt version of Sigma is really easy to put together (only 3 pattern pieces + pockets if you’re interested). I chose to leave the pockets out because I’m lazy, but Katie’s method of sewing them in is awesomely secure. There are two little darts to sew in the back, and that’s it! May I also add, her method of sewing darts is pretty awesome as well. It’s definitely my new go-to for dart sewing. I’ve never sewn prettier darts! (Tilly posted about it here if you’re interested)
The waistband is slightly curved which I love. For me, a curved waistband really makes the difference between a well-fitting and a just okay skirt. I really need that curve! I also love the little gathers in the front: they add something to what would otherwise be a pretty boring skirt.
