A while ago, I ordered this accordion pleated chiffon from fabric.com. If I recall, I got a really good deal, and only spent a few dollars a yard on it. I lined it with some drapey cream jersey, added an elastic waist band, and voila! The easiest skirt ever was born.
I wish I could say more, but that’s all there is to it–I didn’t even bother hemming it. I just cut, sewed around the elastic, and wore it to work a few hours later.

If you’d like to make one of your own, you should check out the one hour skirt tutorial. I didn’t use it (I just used my head and some suggestive language) but it’s seems like it’s pretty similar to what I did!
